Sportacular Sports 14 year old Qualifies for the Masters

14 year old Makes the Masters

An unbelievable event in the golf world has occurred. 14 year old middle schooler Guan Tianlang won the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship this weekend granting him an automatic bid into the Masters this spring. Guan, from China, will be the youngest player ever at the Masters. While he is not expected to make it very far, it is such an amazing feat for the young player. The Masters is a tournament that is played by the premier golfers in the world including Tiger Woods and Rory McIlory. The fact that a young teenager will have the opportunity to tee off with a world renown golfer is amazing in itself. This is already a cinderella story and I cannot even imagine the pandaemonium if he were to somewhat compete for the Green Jacket. Congrats to Guan!
